A news item in the Times of October 29 reports that a woman, purporting to be a Christian Science practitioner, visited a man at his home, offered to examine him for a physical ailment, and prescribed a material cure. A Christian Science treatment consists of spiritual prayer, turning thought away from material evidence, and acknowledging God, Spirit, as the Giver of all good, and the source of all health.
