Man's Unlimited Possibilities

How often the loving hearts of humankind yearn to accomplish some worth-while undertaking which will benefit their fellow beings, but are deterred at the outset by a sense of inability. Perhaps the suggestion comes as an argument of limited intelligence, limited health, a belief in old age, or lack of strength.

Frequently, the assertion is heard, "I should be so happy if I were able to accept the position offered, but I am afraid that, because of my handicaps, I could not fulfill the obligations it requires." Then follows a recital of the supposed hindrances which have been accepted as valid reasons for lack of accomplishment. One of the common handicaps is fear. Another is the mistaken belief that the individual must do his work alone, unaided by divine power and strength.

Christian Science is an invaluable help to anyone burdened by fear or restricted by any phase of limitation, for it teaches the absolute truth that God, who made all that was made, never made a handicap for man. Therefore we can know that the goal of perfection can be reached. Christ Jesus knew this and made it clear to all in the words, "With God all things are possible."
