I should like to add my testimony to those from others who also have cause to be grateful to our Father-Mother God, to Christ Jesus for his wonderful example, and to our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for the priceless gift of Christian Science. I should like to express my gratitude also for the loyal and consecrated practitioners, who stand ready to lend a helping hand in time of need. What a wonderful work they are doing, and what love and kindness they reflect!

My first healing was of dropsy. To mortal sense the condition was very serious, the entire body being swollen beyond recognition. After five weeks in the hospital, on a rigid diet, I was sent to the home of a sister in California. There I consulted one of the best physicians in the state. His verdict was that I was beyond human aid. I then turned to Christian Science, and through the work of a practitioner I had a beautiful healing in a very short time. This was sixteen years ago, and the healing was been permanent. I have not had to diet; I eat what I please. I was healed at same time of the need of wearing glasses, although the condition was not mentioned to the practitioner.

In our home we have seen healings of severe sore throat, scarlet fever, a broken collar bone, and many other errors. My husband was recently wonderfully protected when the breaks of our car failed to hold and it crashed into a telephone pole. The car was completely wrecked, but my husband was uninjured.
