"Of such is the kingdom"

God bless the simple hearts who day by day
Perform their tasks with cheerfulness, whose play
Is glad and just;
Who, in the homely virtues of an honest life,
Living the Golden Rule, avoiding strife,
Show forth their trust
In Him who unto righteousness
Assigneth sure reward.
Whether they follow any creed or none,
Their deeds proclaim Him Lord.
We thank Thee, God, for every childlike thought
Into whose hand
Dominion over all the earth is given.
Their angels do behold the Father's face,
They take their orders from the King of heaven;
They are His seed, and of their fruitfulness
In mellowed harvesting of Godly grace
There is no end,
Till every man shall take his brother's hand,
And call him friend.
