I wish to express gratitude for all the blessings which have come into my life through Christian Science. It has answered the many questions that were in my thought concerning life. Ever since I was a small child I was continually asking myself: What am I? Why do I exist? Then to my joy I had these questions as well as many others answered in Christian Science.

The answer to the question, "Why do I exist?" was answered one day during my study while I was reading from "The First Church of Christ, Scientist, and Miscellany" (p. 165), where Mrs. Eddy says: "Thus may each member of this church rise above the oft-repeated inquiry, What am I? to the scientific response: I am able to impart truth, health, and happiness, and this is my rock of salvation and my reason for existing."

I could write pages and pages of what Christian Science has done for me. It has given me mental peace and a desire to live, in order to do good, in place of a despondent, disheartened state of mind and the desire to do away with myself. I have also had many physical healings in Science, including those of bilious headache, colds, burns, and the aftereffects of a broken wrist and sprained ankle. The effects from an automobile accident were met instantly by my clinging steadfastly to the truth.
