I came to Christian Science through my mother's healing of diabetes and gangrene in 1907. The doctor who had been attending my mother was very grateful for her healing. He said to me, "You know, Christian Science does what we medical men cannot do, but would like to."

I myself was given up at that time by five doctors, who said there was no help for me, as I had blood and organic troubles, which I had been doctoring for years. I was permanently healed through Christian Science.

In 1910 I had a very severe attack of inflammatory rheumatism, which was healed by Christian Science treatment. About eight years ago I had a nervous breakdown that brought me to the point of walking to the waterfront to do away with myself, but a "still small voice" called me back, proving God's loving care and protection. I was also healed overnight of pneumonia with high fever, which was very painful.
