Take Courage

Our Father is loving you, helping you onward,
Over rough places of doubt and despair,
Cheering, encouraging, saying, Go forward,
Be not afraid, Love is here—everywhere.
Take up thy cross, hear the words of the Master,
Go into all the world, cleanse thou and heal,
Bring the lost sheep to the fold of the Shepherd,
Into the realm of the true and the real.
Shelter the lambs, ever leading them onward,
Rich thy reward, when thy journey is done,
Then shalt thou rest in divine revelation—
God and His children forever at one.
