Evening Post

In an article which appeared recently in the Post, I note that the writer of the article claims that the "simple religious teaching" of the sect mentioned is a mixture of Christian Science and other religious ingredients. As this teaching is that the head of this sect is an incarnation of God, it is very easy to prove that it has no connection of any sort whatever with Christian Science. This Science insists that there is only one God, and that that One is the infinite, incorporeal, omnipresent Spirit, or Mind. The conception of an infinite (that is, unlimited) Being as contained in a finite, limited, human, corporeal personality is a logical impossibility, and exactly the opposite of the teaching of Christian Science. This teaching cannot be mixed or blended with any such teaching. I shall be grateful if you will kindly find space for this correction.
