I feel it is my duty and privilege to acknowledge the continuous help that I have enjoyed through the study and application of the beautiful truth we learn in Christian Science. It has been my only physician for many years. My first healings were of constipation, which I had had all my life, and of grief. I had read less than one hundred pages of Science and Health when I realized I was healed of both. Ptomaine poisoning was healed in one day through consecrated study. Many erroneous beliefs disappeared as I studied and applied the truth found in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. All this was accomplished before I had ever attended a church. In 1891 we held services in my home.

Pneumonia and influenza were both instantaneously healed through realization of the truth about God and man. In 1920 I was thrown down in front of a street car; my kneecaps, elbows, and wrists were fractured. I was away from home at the time, and a friend said that I had better get help. I replied, "God is with me; I need no other help." The trouble was met and overcome by my knowing myself as spiritual and not material. My husband was healed of the tobacco habit over ten years ago, also of a severe form of rheumatism. Christian Science was a great help to me in rearing our children. One boy was healed of a compound fracture of the foot in a few weeks' time, to the amazement of friends and neighbors.

Over three years ago it seemed necessary for me to move from where I was established in healing work, which caused me to be unhappy, as I felt the opportunities might not be so great as in a larger place. My resentment was so great that shortly thereafter I was stricken with a difficulty which kept me from walking for over four months. Twice it was necessary to call a practitioner for help. This condition was beautifully healed by my realizing that God's child is always in his right place, doing the right thing. Divine Mind directs; divine Love protects. I was also healed of injuries received in an automobile accident.
