Christian Science taught me how to pray, not merely a prayer of petition, but a prayer of affirmation of the allness and goodness of God. I am grateful for this enlightened sense of prayer, especially in these times of world stress and strain, and I am sure that when we have heard this lecture we shall all have a clearer concept of what prayer really is.
