I first became interested in Christian Science when my husband was declared by his doctors to be tubercular. His sister offered him "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, and asked him to read it. He did not read it, but I did, and I have been so grateful ever since that I found this great truth. I soon purchased a textbook of my own, and during the eighteen years since then we have had many healings in our home, and I have found that Christian Science meets all human needs.
One day I received a message that my eldest daughter had been in an automobile accident, and that I must come at once to a home several miles distant and bring a doctor. As my husband was out of town with our car, I asked the doctor if I could ride with him. While waiting for him I called a Christian Science practitioner in a neighboring town, and she said: "There are no accidents in God's kingdom. Your daughter is a perfect idea right now and ever." I shall never cease to be grateful for the feeling of assurance and peace that came to me and stayed with me through that night.
