Extracts from Reports of Christian Science Committees on Publication

Many are the blessings that have come from the radio programs. One listener wrote a radio station, in part: "The time is ideal. It ends the children's play and brings them happily into the house for the evening. The broadcast has eased many an anxious hour and resulted in some physical healings."

A very elderly woman who was bed-ridden and had not slept well for a long time, listened to a Christian Science program over the radio after a day pain; she expressed appreciation of the love reflected in the program and then went to sleep and slept well all night without pain. An other woman, who had been in bed four months with a nervous breakdown, wrote the station that she was so helped by one of the programs that she got up, dressed, and went down to dinner, and has been "quite well ever since." A saleswoman was healed of profanity as a result of hearing a Columbia "Church of the Air" program of Christian Science and subsequently attended a Christian Science lecture.
