I became interested in Christian Science in the summer...
I became interested in Christian Science in the summer of 1925 through my sister, and I am very grateful that I have been able to demonstrate this beautiful truth, as taught by our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy. I should like to relate a few of the healings which my family and I have had.
My last baby was born after I became interested in Christian Science. The so-called children's diseases which he had were very quickly healed. He is now nine years old and has never had medicine of any kind.
My husband has been healed of severe inflammation of the bladder. My mother has been healed of a severe case of erysipelas in one afternoon and night. I have been healed of chronic appendicitis of several years' standing, also of a severe burn—which never even blistered—from a gasoline flame, and of a cut by a catfish fin on my thumb and finger, which was very painful at first. I had neuritis in my right shoulder and my neck, and severe cramping pains in the pit of my stomach, which were overcome in three hours. My children have been healed of wasp stings, tonsillitis, ringworm, whooping cough, itch, chicken pox, toothache, and many other things, for which healings I am very grateful.
