Lecturer: Dr. Hendrik J. de Lange; introduced by Mrs. Eunice M. Bayless, who said:—

My attention was first called to Christian Science through the healing of my sister, who had been a semi-invalid for several years, and whose life at times had been despaired of. Although she had been a student of the Scriptures since early childhood, the Bible promises came to her with new meaning through the study of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. This textbook proved to be the key that opened the door to a healthy and happy life of service, for she was quickly healed and her healing has been permanent.
