Be of Good Comfort

Be of good comfort, wayfarer,
Christ calleth thee out of the dark,
Out of the throng that would press thee—
He calleth thee, weary one, hark!

Mercy and healing he offers:
Claim all that thou wilt of relief;
Lift up thy heart to the message—
Assurance shall silence belief.

Cast off thy garment of sorrow
And tarry no more by the way;
Hearken with true understanding—
He calleth thee clearly today.

Sight shall be ample and ever
When found in the Truth that makes whole;
Shake off the dust of the ages
And rise in the beauty of Soul.

Be of good comfort, wayfarer,
He calleth thee out of the dark,
Out of the throng that would press thee—
He calleth thee, weary one, hark!
