My confidence in Christian Science was inspired through witnessing some healings in our village, so I too turned to this Science. Before this time I had had much sorrow and anxiety and was a great sufferer. Above all, there was a serious eye trouble that caused me much pain and worry. It was thought that I was going to have a cataract and should become totally blind. After one treatment by a Christian Science practitioner in a near-by city I felt very much relieved, and nothing could shake my faith in God's ever-present love. In about five weeks the difficulty was overcome, and I could read and work again without glasses. This was something I had not been able to do for two years.

I am very grateful for this healing and for the wonderful teaching which every day gives me greater spiritual understanding. My whole endeavor is to work out the Science of being, and to love more and more. I am sincerely grateful to God, to our Leader, Mrs. Eddy, to the practitioner, and to all those who have helped me along this way.
