Lecturer: Ralph B. Scholfield; introduced by Mrs. Juanita A. Brown, who said:—

If there is anyone in this audience who feels about Christian Science as I did many years ago, this lecture will heal him of ignorance and prejudice on the subject, and he will surely reap some of the blessings I have experienced since becoming acquainted with this Science. I was quite young when our family moved into a house evidently formerly occupied by Christian Scientists, as we found a number of copies of the Sentinel in one of the closets. Seeing the words "Christian Science" printed on the cover, we gathered them up gingerly, as if fearing contamination, and took them into the yard and burned them. It was not long after this, however, when Christian Science was lovingly presented to us, that my mother was instantly healed of severe stomach trouble of several years' standing; and later on, heart disease faded away.
