Your issue of June 8 contains a letter on spiritual healing, in which Christian Science is referred to as though it were not strictly in line with the Gospels.

Christian Science, as its name implies, is the scientific mental method of Christ Jesus in healing sickness and reforming the sinner. There is nothing mysterious about it. It is as natural in its operation as the application of mathematical rules in the computation of a sum.

God is the divine Principle of Christian Science, and the fact of His omnipotence and omniscience is the power by which its works of healing are accomplished. It is truly Christian in its method, for it adheres strictly to the way pointed out and demonstrated by its perfect exponent, Christ Jesus.
