Before Miss Lucia C. Coulson, C. S. B., of London, England, served as Second Reader of The Mother Church for the three-year term that is now drawing to a close, she was a member of The Christian Science Board of Lectureship. In response to a letter from The Christian Science Board of Directors, inviting her to serve again on the Board of Lectureship, she wrote, in part: "In reply to your kind letter of April 25th, telling me that you were considering my reappointment to the Board of Lectureship for the ensuing lecture year, I would ask you not to reappoint me, for the following reason. I want to devote myself entirely for some time to come to the active practice of Christian Science healing and also to the work of teaching. May I take this opportunity of expressing my deep appreciation of the great consideration and the unfailing kindness I have always received from you."

Announcement is made by the Publishers of Mrs. Eddy's works of the publication of "Christian Healing," a sermon delivered by Mrs. Eddy in Boston, in the Moon system of type for the blind. It is worthy of note that this is the first religious work to be produced in Moon type in the United States. The plates were made and the book embossed in the plant of the Braille Institute of America, in Los Angeles, for the Trustees under the Will of Mary Baker Eddy.
