Extracts from Reports of Christian Science Committees on Publication

No attacks on Christian Science were made in the local press during the year. On two occasions, in articles reprinted in a local paper, Christian Science was referred to in such a manner as to cause a mistaken idea of the nature of our religion. Corrections in each case were sent in and were duly published.

During the past nine months numerous reprints from The Christian Science Monitor have been published in the local papers, and on some occasions as many as five and six extracts have appeared in the same issue. As a general rule all such reprints gave due credit to the Monitor. Where this reference was omitted apologies were forthcoming when it was brought to the notice of the editor concerned.
