Christian Science means everything to me, for, having...
Christian Science means everything to me, for, having lost almost all human ties, I had to depend upon it for companionship, business direction, and protection.
When one whom I depended on greatly passed on, I felt as if I were alone in the world, but with the help of a consecrated Christian Science practitioner I was kept from the usual dreadful sense of grief, and felt apart from it. When the thought would come, "Alone," immediately would come the answer, "No, alone with God."
Business problems were deep and seemingly unsolvable, but with the same practitioner's help I found a buyer for a piece of property which the agents were unable to sell at an acceptable price.
I should also like to speak of two physical healings of what I think would have been diagnosed as ptomaine poisoning, in which the distressing symptoms were relieved in about half an hour after I telephoned to a practitioner.
Time after time the Bible verse has been proved true, "I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee."
(Miss) Emily Delbridge, Atlanta, Georgia.
