"What shall I render unto the Lord for all his benefits...

"What shall I render unto the Lord for all his benefits toward me?" Today in humble gratitude to the Giver of all good, to Mrs. Eddy for her revelation, and to the practitioners who have helped me, I offer this testimony.

Christian Science was presented in our home when I was a child, and while I had Sunday school training, and relied upon it for healing, it was not until sorrow came to me that I learned the necessity of daily study and the value of church attendance and membership. My proofs of the healing and protective power of this Science have been over so broad and practical a field that I face my unsolved problems with the confidence that "it requires only a fuller understanding of the divine Principle of Christian Science to demonstrate the higher rule," as Mrs. Eddy says in "Science and health with Key to the Scriptures" (p. 162). I am grateful to realize that "trials are proofs of God's care" (ibid., p. 66), and to know that it is not the trial, but the triumph and acquittal, by which we prove that "now are we the sons of God."

When three of my five children were born reliance was placed upon Christian Science. Never confined to my bed, but appreciating these times as opportunities for study, I have been well and strong before so-called material law could believe it possible. None of our children have tasted medicine; so-called children's diseases, including whooping cough, have been healed quickly. I have seen the evidence of a disordered stomach disappear immediately, and earaches and fevers go just as quickly. Christian Science also healed a broken collar bone.
