For years Christian Science has been demonstrated to me as a practical religion, applicable to every human need. My first healing was of sorrow when my baby son passed on. Christian Science proved to be the Comforter of which Jesus spoke. This healing experience was so beautiful that it is not possible to express my appreciation in words.

Desiring to know more of this Science which had healed me, I again turned to it for help in regard to eye trouble, having worn glasses for twelve years. This healing came within a few months; all headaches vanished, and I was freer than I had ever been. There have been many testing times during a period of years, when fear and false thinking were being displaced to make room for the truth; and, when it was necessary, a loving and unselfish practitioner stood ready to help.

Contagious diseases have been quickly healed, also two cases of blood poisoning. One of these cases was healed when my son, then ten years old, had an infected leg. Turning to Science and Health he read aloud to me this passage from page 62: "The divine Mind, which forms the bud and blossom, will care for the human body, even as it clothes the lily; but let no mortal interfere with God's government by thrusting in the laws of erring, human concepts." Trusting to the truth of this statement, he was healed instantly so that all poison disappeared.
