For many years I have been helped and blessed through reading the testimonies in the Sentinel, and now I send mine with a heart full of gratitude to God for Christian Science.

As a small child I saw much suffering in my home, but when I was still a child Christian Science came to us. One member of the family had a badly crossed eye, and after "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy had been read for a few weeks, the eye became straight and remained so. A little later I was healed of measles in a few hours after my mother had read to me from our textbook. Later on another member of the family was quickly healed of an alarming attack of erysipelas.

I am grateful beyond words for the Christian Science Sunday School, which it was my privilege to attend for many years as pupil, teacher, and superintendent. The truth I learned there gave me an absolute confidence in God to heal any erroneous condition and solve every problem. After the glorious experience of class instruction, wonderful things, which each year grow lovelier, began to unfold in my life, bringing me a better understanding of God. I also want to express my gratitude for the health, peace, and joy I experienced while serving as First Reader in a branch church for three years.
