Because of the help that I have received through reading the testimonies in the Journal and Sentinel, I feel I should like to tell something of what Christian Science has done for me and mine.

It is many years since I first became interested in Christian Science. At that time I had been confined to my bed for eighteen months, and the doctors and surgeons who were consulted gave me very little hope of ever walking again. They called the troubled chronic catarrh of the stomach and bowels, with minor complication.

I had heard of Christian Science, but had no faith in what I supposed it to be. However, a friend, who was somewhat interested, asked my sister why I did not try it, as everything else had failed to heal. My family had some fear about my giving up the physician, but it was finally decided that I try this Science. My healing, though slow, has been permanent.
