Natal Witness

It is scarcely possible for an opponent of Christian Science to understand the religion he opposes, neither can he give to others a reliable explanation of it. To understand it he must live it and love it, for only in this way can he give a correct explanation of it.

If we would know the essential facts concerning the life of Christ Jesus, should we accept the unjust version presented by his enemies, the scribes and Pharisees of his day, or should we go for correct information to the writings of those who knew him intimately and best, and who understood him well enough to follow in his healing work and ministry? Likewise, those who have some understanding of Christian Science and are able to demonstrate its teachings in daily experience are best qualified to understand and appreciate the life and work of Mary Baker Eddy.

Our Master declared, "Every tree is known by his own fruit;" and from this standard Mrs. Eddy can be rightly judged.
