In your issue of July 26 you reported a resume of a sermon in which the clergyman referred to Christian Science and to its Discoverer and Founder, Mary Baker Eddy, in a way which might give a wrong impression among your readers.

Christian Science is known and will be known by its fruits. There is hardly a community in the United States and other civilized countries today where there is not someone who has profited by its teaching. Christian Science reveals the true nature of God, Spirit, the creator and His creation; and this teaching is authenticated in the healing of all kinds of disease and sin.

Christian Science is supported by evidence easily accessible to anyone who cares to make the necessary investigation. Moreover, Truth is demonstrable; and anyone who wishes to know the truth about Christian Science may test it in his own experience, and he will then know whereof he speaks. This has been done by many advanced thinkers who are today practicing Christian Science and giving due credit to its Discoverer and Founder, whose life and teaching are inseparable.

Christian Science needs no apology. To be enjoyed, it must be understood and practiced.
