When I first heard that Christian Science heals through the power of God, I thought it quite logical and right that this should be so; but it was not until some time later that I was to learn just how this was possible. When I became interested in Christian Science I was in great need of help, physically and morally.

My family and I went to live next door to friends, and it was shortly after this that these friends became interested in Christian Science, and we were witnesses of many beautiful healings. I was therefore very much encouraged to find out all about this wonderful truth which sets men free from troubles of every description, by the study of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy.

My two sons and I have been students now for almost twelve years, and we have had healings, such as of jaundice, bilious attacks, boils, headaches, burns, neuralgia, nervousness, pneumonia, colds, and many other discordant conditions. Some of these were overcome with the loving help of a practitioner, and some by our own understanding.
