From the Field

[Christian Science Prison Committee for the State of New York]

The Committee is grateful to report that the Christian Science services at the New York state correctional institutions have continued without interruption during the months of July, August, and September, 1932, resulting in some cases of healing and regeneration. In the words of our revered Leader we can say, "We are made glad by the divine Love which looseth the chains of sickness and sin, opening the prison doors to such as are bound" (Miscellaneous Writings, p. 262).

The number of inmates daily studying the Lesson-Sermons is increasing, and the Christian Science periodicals are eagerly received and read not only by the inmates but by many of the officials as well.
