I shall be grateful if you will let me comment on the letter in your issue of June 30, signed "C.M." and bearing the title, "False Church Teachings."

Your correspondent states, "Christian Science teaches that there is no death," and he affirms that this doctrine was condemned by Jesus as "Satan's first lie." He also writes, "Persons of good will have been inveigled by the devil into his trap of so-called Christian Science and bodily healed."

Now the truth is that Christian Science is founded on the Bible and acknowledges the teachings of Christ Jesus wholly, not partially; and indeed, all Christian Scientists look upon him as the Way-shower, considering it a duty and privilege to yield faithful obedience to all his commands.
