The Lectures
Introductions to Lectures
Fillmore, California (First Church).
Lecturer: Dr. Hendrik Jan de Lange; introduced by David Kerr, who said:—
The first Christian Science lecture I attended was held during an influenza epidemic about fourteen years ago. At the time I was experiencing all the symptoms of that particular malady and seemed too ill to attend, but I was interested and went and had the gratifying experience of feeling all this discord leave me as the fog disappears before the morning sunshine. So may we rightfully expect wonderful healing results from the lecture this afternoon.
