God's peace is mine; I can be still
And know that right prevails.
Let me, then, silence human will,
For Spirit never fails.

God's joy is mine; I can rejoice,
Though error's claims may press.
Teach me to listen for Thy voice,
Which quiets all distress.

God's wisdom mine—it shows the path
Which leads me from the night
Of seeming sorrow, fear, and wrath;
His truth is all my light.

God's rest and comfort mine alway;
I can nor faint nor fail;
Abundant Life, my source and stay,
Gives strength when doubts assail.
