When I think of the eighteen years that Christian Science has sustained and protected me, I realize that I could not in one testimony begin to express the gratitude I feel. My first healing came when I read the first chapter in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, entitled "Prayer." I was healed of headaches, from which I had suffered for more than thirty years. I was also healed of a skin disease which material remedies had failed to heal, though I had used them for over twenty years. This healing came through the loving help of a faithful Christian Science practitioner.

I am so grateful for the great privilege of having class instruction. I am even more grateful for the effects of Truth in the overcoming of fear, resentment, and depression; for the gaining of a clearer sense of peace and trust in omnipotent Love, and for the help in overcoming faults of character. I am grateful for membership in The Mother Church, and for the joy of helping those who ask for help in Christian Science. I humbly thank God that this great truth has come into my life, and for the good health I enjoy. My heart is filled with loving gratitude to our faithful Leader, Mrs. Eddy, who in her purity and consecration received the message, and through unremitting toil established our great Cause.—
