I wish to express my gratitude for the many blessings and healings that I have received through Christian Science. When a baby I was healed of rupture in three days.

A few years ago I was healed of a bruised or fractured hip, caused by being thrown against a piece of iron when riding in a truck. This healing was brought about in a short time by absent treatment from a practitioner. I have also been healed, with the help of practitioners, of boils, malarial fever, indigestion, and, to some extent, of a sense of timidity; also of numerous other things of which I do not know the names. I have been healed of a wart on my hand without any special work being done on my part. In some measure I have overcome fear, discouragement, hate, self-condemnation, and the troublesome desire to be always quarreling with someone.

The tobacco habit of several years' standing has also been overcome. There was hardly a waking hour that I was not chewing tobacco; when I smoked I also chewed. I was healed of this by reading Mrs. Eddy's writings and the Christian Science periodicals. This healing took place over three years ago, and I am grateful to be able to say I have had no desire for tobacco since.
