I wish to express my gratitude for Christian Science

I wish to express my gratitude for Christian Science. About eight years ago I turned to it for our son, who was healed of epilepsy. Five years ago I was healed of a broken ankle, the bones being set without surgery and the healing brought about through the help of a loving practitioner. The first night it was very painful and the practitioner was called three times. About four o'clock in the morning my husband asked me if I should like to have him read to me and I said, "Yes, wherever you turn in the Bible, please read." He turned to the fortieth Psalm and read, "I waited patiently for the Lord; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry." I said then, "That is my trouble; I am not patient enough." Before he finished reading the Psalm I was asleep, and there was no more pain.

For this experience I am very grateful, since it proved to me that nothing is impossible with God. I am grateful for our Lesson-Sermons in the Christian Science Quarterly, for the other literature, and for all that Christian Science is doing for the world.—
