The Key

We all know what a key is—an odd-shaped, toothed piece of metal, large or small, which is used to unlock a door, drawer, or cabinet. A small boy called it "an opener."

But there are other kinds of keys besides those made of metal. No doubt when at school we have more than once heard our teachers, after giving us certain facts or making some explanation, say, "Now you have the key to the whole problem; work it out." Or we may have heard someone exclaim, "If I could only find the key to the situation, I'd know how to proceed," meaning he wished for some clue or idea which would help him to understand the situation.

The textbook which Christian Scientists study is called "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures." Let us learn something about this "key."
