Over three years and a half ago I was confronted with tuberculosis, both lungs being badly affected. I could not walk a city block without stopping to rest a number of times. As the days went on, I grew steadily worse, having some days as many as six hemorrhages, which would last from five to twenty minutes, leaving me in a weak condition.
