[Written for the Sentinel]

Prayer

O LORD, may I, a worker, still display
That order which is born of inward peace,
Putting the one thing needful always first.
So daily tasks, which hitherto weighed sore,
Now lightened and illumined by Thy love,
And viewed with joy through the clear lens of Truth,
May, with a song of praise, be gladly wrought.
An offering pure of Love, See MISCELLANEOUS WRITINGS, by Mary Baker Eddy, page 397, and POEMS, page 13 . oh, may each be,
Brought in humility, dear Lord, to Thee.
