I wish to express my deep gratitude for Christian Science

I wish to express my deep gratitude for Christian Science. It was presented to me by a friend about three years ago, at a time when I was in great need of physical healing. I was very unhappy, too; for, although I did not know it, I was spiritually hungry. For some time I had drifted from one church to another, seeking to know more about God. At my first attendance at the service of a Christian Science church the truth of Jesus' words was proved to me: "Seek, and ye shall find." I knew I had found the way of Truth.

From the age of five years I had suffered with tubercular glands and great weakness of the left lung. I received medical treatment for about thirteen years, during which I had to undergo six operations, besides four slight ones which my doctor performed at home. But after all this I was no better; in fact, I was growing worse. My doctor had made arrangements with a specialist to perform still another operation, when Christian Science came to my aid. In about three weeks' time he was very much surprised indeed to find that another operation was unnecessary. Since then I have not received medical treatment or used material remedies of any kind. The complete healing has come slowly but surely. I rely upon divine Mind to heal any discord that arises.

I am very grateful for the many physical healings I have experienced, but much more grateful for the beautiful spiritual revelation Christian Science gives us of God as our Father-Mother, as Life, Truth, and Love.—(Miss) Nelly E. D. Spilsbury, Malvern Link, Worcestershire, England.
