Many years ago I was attracted to Christian Science by the consecrated life of a neighbor. With this dear one's help I was led to the study of this healing truth as revealed to us by Mary Baker Eddy. The Bible was illumined as never before, and I had a wonderful healing of invalidism of over a year's duration.

In going down some steps several months ago I missed the last one and fell prostrate on my left side. I arose repeating, "Underneath are the everlasting arms," and was quite free. When I retired, however, error seemed to say, You cannot lie on your left side. For weeks I tried to realize that there is no inharmony in the realm of Spirit, but seemed to make no headway until I called for help from a loved one. When my mentality was cleared of impure thoughts, the liberating truth came with healing in its wings.

I am very thankful for membership in The Mother Church and a branch church, and for class instruction. I am grateful to have been a guest at The Christian Science Benevolent Association sanatorium, and to have found there each one obeying our dear Leader's injunction in "Miscellaneous Writings" (p. 155), "Forget self in laboring for mankind." It was also my pleasure one day to visit the Pacific Coast sanatorium, now in process of building, and as we went through its unfinished rooms it was as if I were stepping on holy ground.
