My first healing in Christian Science was from a severe attack of influenza. This was accomplished through the help of a practitioner, and I was able to be back at my work after three days' absence. The next healing was of hay fever and chronic throat trouble, from which I had suffered since childhood. Before I knew anything of Christian Science various material remedies had been tried, a change of climate being one, and finally, upon the advice of a specialist, I went under an operation with the hope that it might bring relief. This led to another operation and a long series of treatments which left me no better, the condition becoming so aggravated at times that I could not rest lying down. This trouble was finally overcome through Christian Science treatment, and, though several years have elapsed since then, there has been no return of it. I also wish to express my gratitude for the sustaining power of divine Love as manifested at the time of the passing on of one near to me.
