It is with joy and gratitude to Christian Science that I bear witness to the blessings received through the teachings and practice of this Science. Not having any understanding of divine Principle, I was asleep in human discords, and exposed to the false pleasures of the material senses. Several years ago I was taken with neurasthenia, followed by different organic disorders, the chief one being lung trouble. I took two months' vacation, during which time a practitioner treated me; but in spite of the relief obtained, I did not desire to adapt myself to divine truth. After my return I very quickly lost what I had gained; and to-day I understand what Jesus meant by saying, "The last state of that man is worse than the first," for a complete overturning of all my plans followed, causing a sense of fearful emptiness.

Then I met a practitioner who, while working for me, showed me the blessings of Christian Science. Within a short time, through gaining some understanding of the truth that God makes all things work together for good, my physical condition quickly became normal, to the surprise of my friends. I continued to gain spiritual understanding, followed by a light which showed me the splendor of spiritual man created in the image and likeness of God.

I have the privilege of being a member of The Mother Church, and my desire is to grow in order to help others.
