During the year 1916, after stomach specialists had given me very little help, the family and I decided to try Christian Science for me. Prior to this, I was constantly under the care of physicians. After three weeks of Christian Science treatment, I was completely healed. From that time until now, we have relied wholly upon the truth as taught in Christian Science. The physical and material benefits have been many, but the gradual mental regeneration has been more wonderful. It is only within the last three years that I have awakened to the necessity of thinking rightly about my brother-man as well as myself, and, in fact, about every condition that presents itself in daily experience. For this step in the right direction I am truly grateful.

Through a recent experience I learned that to be obedient to our Father-Mother God and to our Leader, and also to benefit mankind, I must be more faithful in resisting erroneous suggestions, and in putting the truth in their place. By doing this I am learning to keep my mental door closed to the errors which would try to find a lodgment in my consciousness.
