Introductions to Lectures

Danville, Virginia (Society).

Lecturer: Prof. Hermann S. Hering; introduced by Mrs. Margaret J. Jackson, who said: —

More than twenty years ago Christian Science came into my home through the healing of my father. He was suffering from lung trouble, had been forced to give up his position, and was seeking relief through change of climate. While in New Mexico, he stayed in the home of a lady who was a Christian Scientist, and through her was induced to try Christian Science. With the help of a practitioner he was very quickly restored to health and was able to return home and resume his position. Through this healing our family became interested in Christian Science, and since that time has relied upon it entirely for healing. I have found in Christian Science not only healing of physical disease but a satisfying, practical religion which I can use in my daily life. Christian Science offers to all mankind this same healing and comfort.
