A consolidation of two small Christian Science churches occurred in New Albany, Indiana, when First and Second Churches of Christ, Scientist, in that city merged. The united church expresses much gratitude for this desired culmination and feels that it will bring strength and progress to the members individually and to the movement in New Albany.

Excellent progress is being made on the construction of the sanatorium for the Christian Science Benevolent Association for Pacific Coast. During the past few weeks the roof has been completed, and the structure is now protected from the weather. The stagings and temporary structures have, to a great extent, been removed, thus revealing the true architectural proportions and massing of the exterior. Many of the ornamental and decorative features, such as balconies, molded trim, keystones, brackets, et cetera, have been put in place, and these bring out the beauty of the simple architectural style which has been so skilfully employed in the treatment of the building.
