Signs of the Times
[Rev. Dr. A. A. Zinck, in the Milwaukee Sentinel, Wisconsin]
One of the marks that characterize an ideal life is spiritual richness. The truths of the sacred Scriptures have been tested by time, and have clearly established their claim to be a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path. They must under-gird our entire social activity if the nation is to prosper and endure.
Such a life is healthy. Physical health is desirable both for the individual and for the nation, and any movement which furthers the health of the people is worthy of support. But true health is a matter of spiritual life. We need more people who have conquered fear, distrust, and hatred, and who live in the fullness of the liberty of the sons of God.
