Shortly after becoming interested in Christian Science, I was taught the importance of reading only the authorized literature. This has protected and helped me many times. When our youngest child was born, the doctors thought that one eye was blind and would always be scarred. Work was taken up by the practitioner, and the child's eyes are now normal. A disease considered contagious was quickly destroyed by knowing that it had no source or origin, no real cause.

I am very grateful for the Sunday school. During what seemed to be a severe case of chicken pox, one of our children remembered the story of Paul and Silas told the class by their teacher, and said, "Mother, let's sing praises to God all day so that these old things will drop off." We did; and the sores began to dry, and the child was healed. An ugly growth simply melted away from under our little boy's eye. I am most grateful for all the loving Science work that was done.

I was led to class instruction in the most beautiful way. I shall never cease being grateful, for it has taught me to depend more upon God and my understanding of Him. Many beautiful healings have resulted. My husband was healed of rheumatism, and in one treatment of a painful boil. I am grateful for membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church. I am so grateful to Mrs. Eddy for discovering this demonstrable law of God. — (Mrs.) Helen Stansbury Ebaugh, Reisterstown, Maryland.
