Seventeen years ago I was led to Christian Science for relief from a feeling of heaviness across the top of my head. I had had this difficulty for a month and went to several doctors, but each said there was nothing wrong with me. I felt I either had to get relief or die. While I was in this frame of mind a brother-in-law, a Reader in a Christian Science church, came to my home, and he and my sister took me to a practitioner. I did not seem to get any relief at the time, but was grateful to those who were trying to help me. About a month after the treatment, however, the feeling left my head and I have never had it again. Since that time I have worn out five Bibles and the same number of copies of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy.

In my family we have had healings of typhoid fever, blood poisoning, yellow jaundice, pneumonia, chills, itch, cramp, and constipation. I have also been wonderfully taken care of in financial loss and in the passing on of my husband. None of these things were easy to overcome; and each step was taken with fear and trembling, sometimes with help from others, sometimes without.

I certainly feel grateful to Mrs. Eddy for her wonderful courage, so that we might have this truth which comforts and heals. —(Mrs.) Maud Vore Florence, Webber Falls, Oklahoma.
