I too wish to express my gratitude publicly for what I have experienced through Christian Science.

About five years ago I was suffering from a serious abdominal complaint. I had a great deal of pain, and could no longer attend to my household duties. I consulted various doctors, and they all told me there was a growth and that I must undergo an operation; but as I was very weak I could not accept this verdict. However, "man's extremity is God's opportunity." An acquaintance called my attention to Christian Science, and I had faith in it. With the help of a loving practitioner I was freed from pain in a short time, and could work again. For more than four years there has been no sign of the complaint. I was also healed of eye trouble; and I have experienced many other healings and blessings through this wonderful teaching.

For these wonderful healings I am sincerely grateful to God; and I am especially grateful to the dear practitioner who encouraged me with her loving words. —(Mrs.) Ema Knöpfel, Salzbrunnen, Urnäsch, Switzerland.
