The wonderful change in one of my sisters first attracted my attention to Christian Science, and later on I began to read "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy for the sake of a friend, who was delicate and who was going to live far away from medical aid. Neither of us understood much of the letter to begin with; but I realized that if it was not too good to be true, Christian Science was what I myself wanted. I was not seriously delicate, but had several discordant bodily conditions which I secretly feared, but did my best to hide; and always I had been of a nervous and sensitive disposition.

The realization of the wonderful power of Truth has transformed my whole outlook on life, and given me a healthy body and a happier and freer life. It has helped me in every way in my home life and given me, as is promised in the sixteenth psalm, "the path of life" with "pleasures for evermore," and a wonderful "fulness of joy."

I am indeed grateful to Mrs. Eddy for her organization for the preservation of this exact Science, which is bringing such happiness and health into the world; also, to all those who have been faithful to her vision through that organization, and made it comparatively easy for others to procure happiness and health.—
